About Nintendo 64:

The Nintendo 64 (Japanese: ニンテンドウ64 Hepburn: Nintendō Rokujūyon), stylized as the NINTENDO64 and abbreviated to N64, is Nintendo’s third home video game console for the international market. Named for its 64-bit central processing unit, it was released in June 1996 in Japan, September 1996 in North America, March 1997 in Europe and Australia, September 1997 in France and December 1997 in Brazil. It was the last major home console to use the cartridge as its primary storage format until Nintendo’s seventh console, the Nintendo Switch, released in 2017. Though succeeded by Nintendo’s MiniDVD-based GameCube in September 2001, the Nintendo 64 was sold until the system was retired in late 2003.

Codenamed “Project Reality”, the N64 design was mostly complete by mid-1995, but its launch was delayed until 1996, when Time named it Machine of the Year. It launched with three games: Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64, released worldwide, and Saikyō Habu Shōgi, released only in Japan. As part of the fifth generation of gaming, the system competed primarily with the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. The suggested retail price at its United States launch was US$199.99, and it sold 32.93 million units worldwide. The console was released in a range of colors and designs over its lifetime. In 2015, IGN named it the 9th greatest video game console of all time.

Sixtyforce isn't something you have to pay monthly for is it? Is it just a down payment and that's it or does it continually charge you?

Actually it's not half bad.. I need to amend comment below.. I just downloaded it and played my beloved 1080 with the HD mode on, and that's the best 1080 has ever looked on my mac (Openemu can't upscale).. I mean it's less than the price of 1080 second hand (which i Do own of course) and the watermark is not that bad… I got constant 30 FPS (original game was 30) on a 2015 macbook with quad core 2.8, and nvidia 750m graphics. I also have opera, safari AND chrome open doing stuff, with only 1GB of 16Gb ram free.. and it ran like a charm.. It also worked with my 8Bitdo N30 Pro which took about 20 seconds to config.. tight response, no input lag I could tell..If it works well with the games i own and want to play in HD, i will pay it happily. So.. have a bit of testing to do.. Next big one is gauntlet legends for me, which does not work in any other N64 mac emulator.. fingers crossed!

I'll make opening it even easier than those ridiculous work arounds.. Just RIGHT CLICK open, and you can override the block right then and there, and the setting saves perpetually.

the price is ridiculous for "registering".. they can go screw themselves with all the amazing free emus out there.. MANY N64 games work perfectly on OpenEmu, 10000000% free. You can run them in retroarch as well.

Why pay $25 for this sub par emulator when open emu supports multiple consoles and it's free, it's a much cleaner library too.

This emulator is a scam. Why do you need to pay for save states when there's a different emulator for Mac that let's you save state for free? Here's the link: http://openemu.org/

Does this cause viruses at all? because I downloaded a GBC emulator and got a Pkmn Red Rom that attacked my old Dell Inspiron (using a MacBook ever since)
