I really love playing and finding new quirky and weird games that no one talks about. I plan on doing another video talking about even more quirky games on the PlayStation. Dan, do you remember that game called 'Rampage' something? You can choose your monsters, go into a city, climb buildings, ruin them by punching them and eat human. I used to choose a gorilla-like monster.
Pinobee looks like a poor man's Rocket Knight (SNES) or Sparkster (Genesis), both are the same game but name is different, I don't remember if levels are the same too
omg, I scooped up Mr. Domino based on this video and I'M ADDICTED. it took a while to get good at it, but after a few hrs of playing, I'm an ace at it!
that era was cool because it was old school but with sci-fi graphics the SNES dominated like neo Geo at home. but the designers that worked on ps1 all came from that design philosophy.
I just found One Piece Mansion on E-Bay…It is on the way to me. Since I live in a Condo / Apartment this is will be so fun to play.

Thank you for posting this! I've been collecting for a few months now while attending graduate school at the other ASU and have found an interest especially in PS1 games. I have a little over 30 now and have been ordering online and at local retro game stores. It's always nice to find people with similar passions and interests. If you have any other games you could recommend I'd be interested and you're my first subscriber. Happy holidays!
I think the PS1 has some of the most oddest, obscure, even creepy videos games in its library. Weird game names, weird 90's cover art and ads. raw odd 3d graphics and cutscenes that remind of me obscure DOS pc games of the time. PS1 has a huge library including the US titles, demo disks, homebrews, japanese exclusives, European exclusives, bootlegs. I love the PS1

Nice vid man! Those were some weirdo games. I'm a HUGE Playstation 1 fan too! I have over 400 games for this system with my share of cooky crazy ones BUT I don't have ANY of these games you just mentioned. That's crazy to me. Nice collection for sure. Some examples of weird games in my collection are INCREDIBLE CRISIS, POY POY, and RAT ATTACK! Not as unusual as your set but kinda strange stuff. Do you know any of these titles? Thanks again for the cool video.
if you want a great game, definitely play Board game Top shop! it's a budget title and it's basically like monopoly or any of those games and it's got a cute kiddy/anime style and it's enjoyable for hours even in single player haha

Does anybody remember a game (I think on Ps1) about coloured cuboids with different personalities, it was like a 3D platformer and the story was something along the lines of a purple bat-like character kidnapped a pink one.
Nobody seems to remember it but I had so much fun playing it as a kid and have no idea what it is!!

I haven't heard half of these and I love playing new titles on ps1. One of the best systems to collect for. So many titles I still need to play on it

Tetris is one of those games that is so deeply engrossing, you can play it for uncountable amount of hours and it never gets old. The greatest puzzle game ever created. And the multiplayer aspect to some of the versions of tetris is wonderful, I remember passing my game boy back and forth with my sister and my friends seeing who can get the highest score. There was a much purer experience to gaming in those days. Today you can play with people all over the world sure, but most games you can't see your opponents expression when you pull off something amazing to beat them. I miss the good old days of gaming.

Awesome video, Kudo! I lived the PSX era and still play it to this day but I was pleasantly surprise of your selection of games. I didn't hear about any of those before and it was very refreshing to find out that it wouldn't be about the games that every other "best of…" video on youtube keep talking about. Yeah youtubers, we all know FFVII and Metal Gear are awesome. I hope to you'll make a part 2 and also do the same for others console. I also like that you seem genuinely excited about those games and happy to talk about them, it's infectious.

BTW, if any gamers are itching for ps1 games, but dont have it, it's really time to get it on your PC. It's just too easy not to.(I'd get a controller unless you dont mind using the keyboard/mouse) I got a the Logitech Precision for $10 @ Target, works for (nes,snes, and ps1) Anyway, here's the vid I used, seems to be the simplest: v=qIosc7FMuQ4
some games i would look at and just think "urgh, boring", but you make them sound really fun and the fact you seem so happy just makes me want to play them all xD

yeah puzzle star is a sleeper. one of the deepest puzzlers out there. beast of a puzzler.
Should check out Domino Rally on the Wii if you haven't. Kind of a spiritual successor.
