I love retrieving the fan from the circular file… I still have a dedicated closet in my house for those things 😉

I'm so sad that the TUF series mostly has orange details all over it. This is a beautiful mobo but they seem to have moved away from this design. 🙁

If you have only 2 fans to pull at the front mount do you place them on the left or right side of the radiator? OR does it not matter too much?

Would all this fit in a R6 from fractal design or some kind of case that would have more space for more hard drive because this case doesn’t do it for me I would like more with hard drive options

I would look to see a pc like that play a low spec game like half life 2 (2004) in the lowest settings, just to see the fps count

I think I'm gonna do almost this same build. Gonna do it with the 8700k though and opt for a 500gb ssd instead of m.2. Also doing a 4tb western digital black hdd. Also have the 1080ti hybrid. Thoughts?

Hi Bitwit, I would like to know what are your thoughts on replacing the CPU and RAM in this build for a Ryzen 5 1600X (overclocked) along with the FlareX 16g 3200mhz AM4 certified kit by G.Skill and keeping the rest of it as is?

Here is the reason why i am asking this specific question, I am a mechanical engineer working with a software called Autodesk Inventor (3D CAD) which is a single-core application (for the most part) and I play a lot of ARK: Survival Evolved which is mostly GPU demanding. I would probably be slower when using Autodesk Inventor, but I am more concerned about my gaming experience than my 3D CAD (as I do not do a lot of it at home and this would be a build for my home, not work). I would like my build to last a very long time, for a decent price.

It's funny that people push 4K Gaming when people that really want frames and amazing smoothness choose 1080p @ at least 144hz….
